Player CommentsAndy Tonks Birmingham, UK Guess what? I got the high score! I'm so proud! What? Games are for kids? Nah... Clark Fralick My youngest daughter found it very entertaining and likes the bonuses. She really got into the bonus play and felt she was doing a great job. "This is a really fun game" and "Look, I got candy this time." She keeps on trying to unlock the new prize. Yes! I got the high score!. George Zagas My eight year old daughter plays it the most and really loves it. She plays this as as much as Bejeweled. I have played it and found it a cute game as has my thirteen year old son. He has the highest score. James Williams Grayson, GA, USA My five year old really liked StarPop and has already asked to play it again. I loved the fact that I was able to tell him the instructions in one step - "Click on the items to pop them." That's it. Unlike so many palm games, this one is simple. The other thing I loved was that it didn't matter how long it took him to complete the screens. If it took him a minute to clear a screen, that was fine. There wasn't any penalty for doing a screen too slowly. This is the best palm game I've seen for a preschooler. Joshua Burdick Buffalo, NY, USA Both my 2 year-old, Caleb, and 4 year-old, Elijah enjoyed the game.I asked them each what they thought of the game and Elijah's response was "Very cool", Caleb said, "cool" as well.Elijah even showed me how he could make the scarecrow do exercises! I think the prizes are a big hit with my boys. We'll definitely be putting this game to more uses over the next few days as we will be going to Florida for our family vacation. Overall, the game was quite amusing, just watching my boys faces as they played was worth trying the game out! Both my wife and I couldn't believe how easy it was for Caleb, my 2 year-old son, to play the game. I showed him a couple times and he picked it up right away. I really think that Starpop is a lot of fun because anybody can pick it up and play the game. When my 2 year-old can play a game on my Palm and not get frustrated, its a winner! Ken Phillips Feedback from Aaron - aged 13. It's a good game for carrying around and playing quickly. Feedback from me (Dad) Good game for kids to learn coordination and easy to learn. Ideal for ages 5 to 8 and there is not a lot of other games like this for this age group. Kids of this age will love the graphics and colours Kevin Agot Henderson, NV, USA This is truly the ONLY game that has crisp, digital sounds; smooth, bright graphics and gameplay that is fun for the whole family. I decided to test it out on my 7 year old "Game Boy and PS2"-addicted son. Verdict: He loves it! During our lunch he finished his food quickly just so he could play StarPop! He played the game until my batteries just about ran out. Kyle DeMilo Farmington, CT, USA the only request i'd make is to make a 'wicked hard' setting for us bigger kids ;-) it runs smooth as silk on my LifeDrive. Mark S. Ortaliz The first thing that I noticed about the game is the brightly colored background and objects. It is such a pleasure to play because you easily get immersed into the gameplay. My 3 year old daughter loved the candies and the fruits. Her eyes just lit up and grabbed my Palm from me as soon as she saw the candies. She particularly enjoys tapping on the objects and listening to the cute and funny sounds. I think one reason why she liked it so much is because the gameplay concept is so easy. There is no learning curve at all, simply tap away and pop the objects Simon Morris Queensland, Australia First thoughts? I was a little worried that the girls would stab too hard at the screen. I'd be a bit cross if the HX4700 got damaged. However, Kate told me that you have to be gentle with it like her DS, so that's OK. Kate was quite taken with the game and her 10 yr old eyes easily spotted the themes from the screen with the spaceship moving around. A little update for you. Kate and Holly are still bickering over the hx4700 and StarPop. They play it a lot and even in the car on the way to school. Headphones (for them) have saved my sanity in this regard. Tim Smith Concord, NC, USA To quote my 5 year old boy (Ben Smith of Concord NC) "Look at this game it's cool". He got the hang of how to play in seconds. This looks like a real winner for children and adults too. Tim Chaffee FL, USA It seems that it would be a great time killer if my kids were younger and we were stuck somewhere. I could see it being like the games you play driving in the car. However the age they are at it seemed to be a bit "young" for them. Ellen Pittsburgh, PA, USA So far as a family we love the game. It's very addicting. The kids enjoy playing against each other to see who can get the high score. It's a wonder I can use my Palm TX at all. David Wilkinson I like the game, makes a nice change from Bubble breaker lol, my brothers had a go and said it was ok but I think they will be fighting over my phone to play it lol. Rick Ingram FL, USA My wife has beat my personal high score, but I plan to remedy that as soon as possible. My daughter, she's actually 3 1/2 years old, is really enjoying it. So much so, that I have had to pull an older PDA out of retirement just for her to play StarPop so will quit stealing my Zodiac2. She tells me she likes the Candy screen the best because the candy crunches when you "pop" it! Daryl Spitzer Scotts Valley, CA, USA I've played StarPop a few times with my daughter (age 4) and my son (31 months). They both enjoy it. Laurent Duveau Paris, France I played a few times first, reached nice 400,000 to 500,000 scores, to make sure this game was adequate for my kids. Why did I play a few times and not only once? Well, just because I got addicted to the game!!! then, it was my son's turn (he is 7 years old), he loved and still loves it, managed to get all 5 high scores ranging from 589,600 to 558,200. As far as my initial fear is concerned (something that would definitely have stopped me from buying this game), the screen is not damaged in any way. Now, we have had hours of nice game, my son and myself. Andy Furnish London, UK I've been playing this quite a bit on the way to work in the mornings - it's a great time waster! I thought I'd get bored of it quickly since the game doesn't change from session to session, but the urge to get a higher and higher score keeps me coming back. Jordan Koether Toronto, Canada This was a very interesting game. At first I was suprised at how simple the game was but it turned out to be as addictive as Bejeweled. Very fun game for the family from children to adults. May Cheung Prince George, BC, Canada It's a cute game and I think it will appeal to most kids. My son was just playing with the various levels and seems to like it quite a bit. He was just talking about the "crunching" sound. "Wow!" "Kinda cool" my son tells me with respect to the candy level. |

Colin (10): I like it because it is fun, i especially like the sweet level 'cos it looks like heaven.
Me (Dad 43): I liked the game simple to learn, but hard to get a high score on once the 15 year old had filled the scoreboard. But last night on a bus ride to the pub I got 599470, putting me in top place & upsetting him - great!
